Bollywood action film, directed by B.R. Chopra and his son, Ravi, in which newly appointed Police Commissioner Ali Haider Jaffri (Dharmendra) has to prove himself.
Jaffri first gets an opportunity to show his risky, yet successful, methods when he arrests a group of bank robbers. When he later fails to save the bank chairman's kidnapped son, however, Jaffri's work comes under scrutiny. Matters worsen when his own daughter, Shagufta (Pratibha Sinha), and her husband, Naseerudin (Rohit Bhatia), are taken hostage.
Will Jaffri be able to manage the situation carefully and save those he cares for?
