First up is 252: Sign Of Life on 10th January. A disaster movie inspired by a miraculous real-life rescue event that occurred following the Chuetsu earthquake of 2004 (more information next week).
Death Notice: Ikigami will be released on 7th March 2010. A film that sees the Japanese government creating a death lottery for 18-24 year olds, and follows the man who has to deliver the ‘death notice’ to those who only have 24 hours to live.
The Jackie Chan produced Wushu follows on 4th April 2010. Promising hard-hitting martial arts, the film stars Sammo Hung.
Pandemic, you guessed it, is a sci-fi thriller where a deadly virus spreads across Japan. The film comes to DVD on 9th May.
Finally, martial arts action in Gallants, which will be released on 11th July. The film sees a weedy real estate agent trained by a kung-fu master for an upcoming tournament after being mistaken for a former student.
