“I love foreign cinema because it one of the easiest and most accessible ways into another country's culture and society. With the advent of technologies such as the internet, the world is becoming a smaller place, and cinema is fast becoming an international form of entertainment, transcending language and national boundaries. There is much to be gleaned from the cross-cultural enjoyment of foreign films, and how iconic figures such as James Bond, would be just as recognisable in the UK as they are in a small village in Indonesia.”

“Currently waiting to start an MA in World Cinema and the Transcultural at SOAS, I also love travelling and have spent time teaching English in South America and Southeast Asia. I speak Mandarin Chinese as well as Spanish, and would love to start learning Arabic one day. My dream is to spend a year or two travelling by land all the way from England to India and Nepal.”
