The Prince Charles Cinema has existed in its current incarnation since 1991 (in previous lives it was a West End Theatre and a film-house of ill repute!).
The only non subsidised repertory cinema in the UK, we do not receive funding from the Arts Council, the Lottery or any other body. We act independently in our dealings with all film distribution companies. We have operated our low ticket pricing policies since 1991 and have a loyal base of regular customers. The PCC community!
We recently completed a major refurbishment of the building, adding in a second screen in the upper levels of the cinema. This has enabled us to continue showing our great value classic cinema downstairs, whilst also branching out into showing brand new premium films upstairs.

Trinity Arts Centre is a multi-functional building committed to servicing the West Lindsey District community. The building itself is a converted gothic church still with its original features and a bar open for shows and film screenings where you can sit with a drink and soak up the charming architecture and art in the bar by local talented artists.
The auditorium itself seats 200 with great views from every seat towards the large stage. A season's programming includes an exciting and diverse range of events, including theatre, film, music, dance, kid's club and stand up comedy.

A part-time cinema (4-5 days a week in the evenings) "dedicated to showing the best of new releases of world cinema, plus old classics and cult favourites.”
The cinema opened originally in November 2005, although it closed for five months in 2009 (April-August) until it re-opened under the sponsorship of the Portsmouth Naval Base Property Trust (a charity promoting the history of maritime Portsmouth - The Victory, The Mary Rose and The Warrior being the historic ships on display).
The cinema has a 275-seat auditorium (“probably the best in Portsmouth”) with a 30x20 foot screen (“the largest on the South Coast”).” Our particular strength is in showing new releases - and a strong following for French and Spanish cinema.

The venue's annual programme is made up of well over 200 specialist film screenings, over 400 workshop sessions and 12 exhibitions, as well as participation and educational projects in the local community. Its live programme of over 200 performances includes chamber and orchestral concerts, jazz, folk and blues gigs, top stand up comedy, cutting edge theatre and dance and more traditional community-produced drama.
Managed by a charitable trust, Artrix works closely with Bromsgrove District Council and NEW College of Further Education to ensure that the service it offers is fresh and relevant, while its active partnership with Bromsgrove's dynamic arts community ensures the widest possible local cultural engagement. Its pool of over 60 volunteers, meanwhile, keep the foyer bar and front of house services running smoothly and provide the venue with its very special friendly ambience
Artrix is ideally located for access from South Birmingham and Worcestershire, minutes from the M5 (Junction 5) and M42 (Junction 1), from which it is just a short drive on the A38 to the venue's ample free car parking (follow the brown signs). It is also only a short signposted walk from Bromsgrove town centre and its bus station, and a couple of miles by taxi from the railway station.
