Marc Evans writes and directs this drama. When Rhys (Matthew Gravelle) is required to travel to South America to do a work assignment on Patagonia's Welsh community, his partner, Gwen (Nia Roberts), goes with him, despite the fact they are having relationship difficulties. While there, however, Gwen falls for their driver, Mateo (Matthew Rhys). At the same time, an elderly woman, Cerys (Marta Lubos), leaves Patagonia and heads to Wales where she hopes to discover her family's history. She is accompanied by her nephew, Alejandro (Nahuel Pérez Biscayart), who becomes romantically involved with local girl Sissy.
