The Institut Français' digital platform, Culturethèque, will be launched on the 27th May 2010.
The Institut will have a launch party on the day, with Gabriel de Broglie, writer and member of the Académie Française, and former President of INA (National Audiovisual Institute).
“Culturethèque is a unique concept unprecedented in the UK and forms part of the overall modernisation of the Institut. This platform will present carefully selected cultural content to members of the Institut and the public from anywhere in the UK. We will also take this opportunity to inaugurate the newly renovated foyer, which will provide a modern, stylish and convivial space to congregate.”
